New South Wales is an Australian state situated in the country’s east and is surrounded by South Australia, Queensland and Victoria to north, west and south respectively. To the east, it is surrounded by Tasman Sea that forms Pacific Ocean’s part and encompasses whole of Australian Capital Territory. Sydney is the state capital, which is also the New South Wales’ most crowded city. As of June 2010, the rated population was 7,238,819, which was 34.5 percent of population of Australia, and makes it one of the most crowded counties of the country. Geelong is the second biggest metropolis in the State of Victoria. The city is situated just seventy five kilo meters to the south west of Melbourne, the capital of the state. The city is located on Corio Bay and is populated by more than a hundred and sixty inhabitants. Geelong has an incomparable location at the coast at Corio Bay. This makes for a number of superb water sports. There are a great number of beautiful locations such as the beaches and the foreshore pool. Wagga Wagga is located at the south west of Sydney and is situated amidst the verdant Riverina region situated close to River Murrumbidgee. The city is located four hundred and seventy five kilo meters from Sydney, four hundred and forty kilo meters from Melbourne, and two hundred and forty kilo meters from Canberra. Wagga Wagga is an excellent destination to use as a base while you explore the areas in and around Riverina. Orange city located in the state of New South Wales at the Mitchell Highway. It is about 160 miles ( 260 k m ) to the west of Sydney. A beautiful city, Orange is famed for its fruit growing industry, which ironically enough does not include oranges. The numerous orchards add to the beauty of Orange.  There are vineyards here as well. Orange city is located 2,862 feet ( 862 m ) above sea level. Well known as the birthplace of the poets Kenneth Slessor and Banjo Paterson, Orange is a focus point for culture as well.
