The Elegance Of Twelve Apostles
Initially known as ‘Sow and Piglets’, The Twelve Apostles were formed around 15-25 million years ago. These rock formations are nothing but eroded remnants of once soaring limestone crags surrounded by an interior sea and a mixture of the dead marine creatures. These remnants were quite rich in calcium, clay, and limestone that made these formations brawny. These are now the tallest heaps of rock in the world and hence a famous tourist attraction in Victoria. The Twelve Apostles have diminished to eight, when the fourth one collapsed on July 3rd, 2005.
