Taronga Zoo is open and admits visitors from 9 am to 5 pm. The hours are from 9 am to 4 p m on Christmas Day and New Years Eve.

The collection of animals at the Taronga Zoo is pretty varied, and offers a good selection of choice. There are animals such as Gorillas, Giraffes, Lions, Elephants, Reptiles, Penguins and Sea Lions. Cameras are allowed inside the zoo, and there are a good number of photo opportunities.
